Welcome to Fat Buddha Fitness, the spiritual guide to turning from fat to fit. Now that doesn’t mean we think you can get in shape by praying but what it does mean is we’re inspired by the Buddha to help others get fit. The Buddha preached the middle way and alleviating suffering. To help you do both of those, you need to make sure you’re in decent physical condition. Specifically this website is aimed at busy, working people who’ve been letting themselves go and want to do something about it. You may not be able to afford a personal trainer and you may not have the time to make a gym membership worthwhile. But with Fat Buddha Fitness you can help get yourself back into shape from the comfort of your own home, without the need for a huge time-consuming commitment.

These are short, intense workouts that you can do before breakfast or when you come home from work to help keep you active so that you can make the most of the rest of your life. Getting fitter won’t just mean you can run harder when playing football with your mates on Sunday, playing squash with a colleague or running around with your kids in the park. It will also improve your health and concentration in other walks of life and make you feel, well better. We’re inspired by the Shaolin monks who include kung-fu as part of their general lifestyle because looking after their physical well-being is as important to them as training their mind, their chi and even walking the spiritual path.

Every day from Monday to Friday we’ll post a new workout to the website and you can either follow them daily or pick and choose which ones you want to do. Dip in and out or become a dedicated follower of Fat Buddha Fitness, it’s up to you. There will be a wide variety of workouts differing both in style and in level of difficulty, and hopefully there will be something for everyone. We don’t want your life to revolve around Fat Buddha Fitness, we simply want to help you get the most out of whatever else it is you already do. And our aim isn’t to give you a six-pack, big muscles or the best beach body. Fat Buddha Fitness is about getting fitter, faster, stronger and feeling better so you can live a more balanced lifestyle.
